Tessa is a Licensed Social Worker who specializes in supporting teens and adults experiencing eating disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, and challenges with emotion regulation.

Tessa believes in the power of warmth and connection, viewing the therapeutic alliance as the foundation for meaningful work together. Tessa strives to create an environment where clients can show up as their full selves, embracing the difficult parts of healing and the moments of joy and laughter along the way.

Tessa approaches therapy through a trauma-informed and strengths-based lens. She uses Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), helping clients develop a deeper understanding and acceptance of themselves while building skills to support meaningful change. She also incorporates a Health at Every Size (HAES) framework for clients navigating eating disorders and body image concerns.

Tessa recognizes that each person brings their own identities, lived experiences, and strengths into therapy. Her work is guided by a social justice and anti-oppressive approach that honors the identities, communities, and experiences that shape who we are and how we interact with our environment. She is committed to creating a space where clients feel seen, supported, and accepted as they are.
