Mehak is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) with experience working with adults from diverse backgrounds navigating a wide range of mental health and life challenges. She has supported individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, disordered eating, grief, identity exploration, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions.

Mehak approaches therapy with the understanding that our present experiences are often shaped by our past relationships and environments. Grounded primarily in psychodynamic and person-centered approaches, she works collaboratively with clients to explore these connections, deepen self-awareness, and better understand patterns that may be contributing to current difficulties. She also draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), integrating practical strategies according to each client’s individual needs and goals.

Mehak believes that a genuine therapeutic relationship provides the foundation for meaningful work. She strives to foster a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their experiences with openness and curiosity. With an appreciation for the ways culture and identity shape our perspectives, she seeks to understand each client within the context of their unique lived experience. Her goal is to support individuals in developing a deeper relationship with themselves and approaching life’s challenges with greater insight and confidence.
