Tara is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) with experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and groups. She has supported individuals navigating trauma, families looking to strengthen parent-child relationships, those experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, ASD, and more. As a member of the queer community, Tara is especially passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ clients in exploring and affirming their identities in a nonjudgmental, shame-free space.

Țara practices from an intersectional, feminist, and social justice framework. She strives to meet clients where they are by celebrating small victories and recognizing clients’ strengths. She uses a person-centered approach in session and incorporates elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Attachment Theory, and other client-led interventions. When working with kids and adolescents (and adventurous adults), Tara integrates play and creative arts modalities to support emotional expression in age-appropriate, accessible ways.

As a therapist, Tara’s goal is to offer a supportive environment where clients feel safe, valued, and seen. She believes that every story is unique, and every counseling experience should be, too. Tara collaborates with clients to create a therapeutic experience that fits their individual goals and needs. She is committed to helping clients discover their happiest, most authentic selves through warmth and compassion.
